Bollywood actor Anupam Kher and late actor Satish Kaushik were long-time friends, and since Satish’s passed in March, Anupam has frequently posted photos and video in his memory on social media. Today, on the occasion of late Satish Kaushik’s birthday.

Anupam took to Instagram and posted a video montage of their old images on Instagram in honour of Satish, who would have turned 67. Anupam and Satish’s other close friend and actor Anil Kapoor can be seen in the photos. In other shots, Anupam and his mother Dulari Kher can also be seen posing alongside Satish, his wife Shashi, and their daughter Vanshika. Sharing the video, he captioned in Hindi, “Happy BirthdayS atish! My dear friend Satish Kaushik! Wish you a very happy birthday! Today on Baisakhi you would have turned 67. But for 48 years of your life I had the privilege of celebrating your birthday. So I have decided that this evening we will try to celebrate your birthday in a grand way! The seat beside Shashi and Vanshika will be vacant. Come my friend and watch us celebrate…”

Soon after he shared the post, fans poured their love in the comments section. Reacting to the video, a user commented, “Very rare we find friendship so bonded to each other. Salute to you sir for keeping the friendship still going and I’m sure Satish sir some where From universe will be witnessing it.,” while another fan wrote, “What a wonderful tribute sir respect, wherever Satish sir would be, his soul would be pleased to see this, many happy returns of the day to you Satish sir, may your soul rest in eternal peace.”

Legendary actor Satish Kaushik passed away on March 9 following a cardiac arrest, and veteran actor Anupam Kher bid a heartfelt farewell to him. Kher was the first celebrity to share the news of the demise of late actor-director Satish Kaushik.

Anupam Kher and late actor Satish Kaushik were National School of Drama (NSD) graduates and they had been friends since then.
