Bollywood actress and fitness enthusiast Malaika Arora recently opened up about her relationship with actor Arjun Kapoor and the 12-year age gap between them. The couple, who have been dating for several years now, has often faced criticism and scrutiny for their age difference. While speaking about the same, Malaika briefly gave a peek into her relationship with Arjun.

It all happened during her conversation with a leading magazine portal, Brides Today. When asked to talk about her relationship with Arjun Kapoor, Malaika asserted, “He is my person, I feel lucky to have found true love. I might have had wrong notions about love all my life, but when I met him, I connected with him and just fell in love. I now know what love is about…To love someone so purely is truly fascinating.”

As the conversation progressed further, the portal asked the 49-year-old actress to talk about the thing she likes the most in Arjun. In her response, she said, “I think he is insanely wise for his age, and that he has a very deep and strong soul. He is someone who’s very liberated and extremely caring. I don’t think they make men like that anymore. I could go on and on, but I admire these qualities the most.”

When asked if the age gap bothers her in any way, the ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ fame actress explained, “Our world is so obsessed with tags…There is an age difference, but it has never been an issue between us.”

For the unversed, Malaika was previously married to actor and film producer Arbaaz Khan. However, after 18 years of marriage, the duo parted ways in 2017. Soon after her divorce from Arbaaz, it was rumoured that a romance was brewing between Malaika and Arjun. And, the couple finally made their relationship official in 2019.
