Pulkit Samrat, an Indian actor, started his journey in the entertainment industry as a television actor. He made his debut in the popular Hindi television show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2006 and gained fame with his role as Lakshya Virani in the daily soap. After a successful stint on television, Pulkit made his film debut in 2012 with the film Bittoo Boss. 

Pulkit Samrat reflects on his journey as he completes 11 years in the industry; says, “Gratitude only for every project”

However, it was his performance in the comedy-drama Fukrey that garnered him widespread recognition and critical acclaim. Pulkit portrayed the character of Hunny in the film, which became a box-office hit and earned him several awards and nominations.

Pulkit’s subsequent films, such as Sanam Re, Junooniyat, and Fukrey Returns, showcased his versatility as an actor. His portrayal of a lover boy in Sanam Re and a military officer in Junooniyat received praise from audiences. Despite facing some setbacks in his career, Pulkit continues to work hard and experiment with his roles. 

As he completes 11 years today and on this momentous occasion, Pulkit has only gratitude to share. Speaking of the same, Samrat asserts, “When I stepped into the industry I knew I would look back only to see how far I have grown. These 11 years have been challenging, fulfilling, and filled with multiple learning experiences. These experiences have shaped me and transformed me as an individual as well as an artist. Gratitude only for every project I have been a part of. I look forward to bagging projects which challenge me as an artist and help me evolve. This is what I love about being an actor – there’s always room for more.” 

Coming to the professional front, the 39-year-old actor was last seen in Kaadan, a trilingual drama that also stars Rana Daggubati. He has multiple projects in his kitty including the third installment of Fukrey.
