The mother of Ghulam – who was gunned down by UP-STFon Thursday with Asad Ahmad, the son of gangster-politician Atiq Ahmad – has declared the state government’s action to be ‘absolutely correct’ and said “galat kaam ka galta nateeja milega” (wrong action will lead to wrong result). “I had Joined hands before him and asked him to not take wrong steps,” said Ghulam’s mother in an interview to India today. Gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed’s Asad Ahmed and his aide Ghulam, wanted in the Umesh Pal murder case, were killed in an encounter on Thursday by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) in Jhansi.
