By Ritvick Arun Bhalekar: All parties in the Maha Vikas Aghadi need to come together and work in consensus, Sharad Pawar said a day after meeting Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai.
Speaking to reporters, Sharad Pawar said, “When we work together, there are bound to be some differences. Still, we are of the view that all the parties in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) need to come together and work in consensus. This is what we discussed in yesterday’s meeting.”
“We have chalked out certain programmes regarding the same and everyone from MVA should participate in these programmes is what we appeal,” he said.

The coalition partners in the MVA seem to be on different pages over several critical issues. Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar earlier expressed his disapproval of a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the Adani issue, unlike the Congress which has been calling for it.
On the Savarkar issue, the Shiv Sena and the NCP have demanded a Bharat Ratna for him. However, the Congress accused Savarkar of being loyal to the British and blocked the demand.
NCP’s Supriya Sule and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut were also a part of the meeting between Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday.
