The workers of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) distributed laddoos in Lakhimpur after Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad was killed in an encounter by UP STF team. They were seen with a photo of CM Yogi Adityanath and distributing sweets among themselves. The party workers also raised slogans of ‘bulldozer baba zindabad’ and ‘Jai Shri Ram’. Yesterday, after the incident, CM Yogi called for a meeting to discuss the state’s law and order situation. In the meeting, he praised the officials involved in the encounter and their efforts to maintain the rule of law.
